Quick Review of Sony WH-1000XM3 Noise Cancelling Headphones

Ifinally got the Sony WH-1000XM3 Noise Cancelling Headphones I have always wanted. When you’re traveling or living in a noisy building, a pair of noise cancelling headphones becomes a necessity if you like quiet environments.
Since I work from, I really needed a pair to quiet all the noise and make it easier for me to focus on work. It’s one of those investments, for items, that I’d not regret.
I have had these for about 2 weeks now, using them in the house and outside. So far, I am happy with the all-round performance as a noise cancelling headphone and, of course, Sony’s speakers for music. The bass on this thing is out of the world. Here’s my review.
Comfort
The headset is quite lightweight, with a plastic build and a total weight of approximately 255g. The ear pad is filled with a nice and cosy cushion that’s thick enough to cover the ears but still soft enough for extended usage.
Adaptive Sound Control
The sense engine, together with the adaptive sound control, adjusts the level of noise cancellation automatically, depending on your current activity. It helps you be aware of your surroundings, like walking on the streets to avoid being hit by a car or waiting at the airport so you can hear announcements.
Automatic and Personalised Noise Canceling Optimization
Optimizes noise cancellation based on personal factors like the size of your head, your hair or whether you wear glasses.
Fast Attention
You can quickly switch attention to conversations or anything happening around you by turning down the volume. To do this, just place your hand on the right ear cup over on the housing.
The Equaliser and Sound Control Function
The equaliser function lets you choose the perfect tone for your songs and also customise. You can also customise the sound control to select the direction you need the sound to come from.
Fast charging and long running time
The headphones fast charges to full power under 3 hours. The running time is 30 hours per full charge. I use mine for 8 – 10 hours a day and charge every 3 days. A 10 minutes charge can last you for 5 hours.

Available on iOS and Android platforms for easy control of the headphones- from the sound to the ambience and other customizations.
Compact design
The compact and foldable design and swivel ear cups come in handy for some neat packing. It comes with a carry case with compartments for easy packing of the headphones and accessories like the wired cable and a plug adapter for use when flying. It makes it lightweight and easy to carry when not using the headphones.
If you travel a lot or need a quiet working environment, then I recommend getting these Sony WH-1000XM3 noise cancelling headphones. I bought mine from Gametroniq’s shop at the Hub Mall in Karen.
The battery is fast charging with a long-running time. It’s compatible with Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant for easier voice control with your digital assistants. You can customize and personalize all aspects, like ambiance and sound tones.
It’s also lightweight and comfortable, so you can use it for long hours without getting a headache.
Update: 3 Years Later
I have had these headphones for almost three years now. How do I feel? I still love them! The speakers are still excellent, So I am always blastic some music. The noise cancelling is also still perfect, even though the majority of the noise is from crickets.
However, the leather has become problematic ever since I moved to a very humid area.
The leather started coming off a few months later. I really hate the new worn-off look!
